Terms & Conditions
Understand the terms governing your use of Lenzeit's AI-powered event photography services
Our Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Lenzeit's services through www.lenzeit.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the website or our services.
2. Overview of Services
Lenzeit provides AI-powered photo sorting services to photographers and studios (collectively, "Users" or "Photographers"). Users can upload event-related photographs, which are then automatically sorted using facial recognition technology. These photos are shared with clients via secure access codes generated by the system.
3. User Roles and Eligibility
Photographers are required to create an account and subscribe to upload and manage photos. Clients (individuals whose photos are captured) do not need to register and can access their photos through an emailed access code. There are no age restrictions for platform use, but photographers must be legally permitted to enter into binding contracts.
4. Account Registration and Management
Photographers must provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating an account. They are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. Misuse or unauthorized activity may lead to suspension or termination of access.
5. Subscription Plans & Payments
Subscriptions can be upgraded, downgraded, or cancelled at any time. Plans automatically renew unless cancelled. No refunds are issued after payment due to the digital nature of the services.
6. Photo Sorting, Access, and Client Downloads
Once photos are uploaded and sorted, Lenzeit's system generates unique access codes that are automatically sent to the respective clients via email. Photographers cannot view or modify these codes.
Clients must visit www.lenzeit.com and enter their access code to locate their event. Upon successful verification, they will have exclusive access to only their own photos. Photos can then be downloaded directly through the website.
Each event and its associated photos are available for 14 days from the time of upload. After this period, the event and its contents are permanently deleted from Lenzeit's servers.
7. Album Transfer, Storage Limits and Retention
Album Transfer allows you to upload a single ZIP archive and deliver it to a client through a secure link. It uses no AI credits and performs no AI processing: the archive is stored as uploaded and delivered as uploaded, and its contents are never opened, extracted or analysed by us.
Plan limits
- Each plan sets a total storage allowance, a maximum size per album, how many albums may be active at once, how many uploads may run at once, and which expiry periods are available. Current values are shown on the Transfers page and in the Pricing page.
- Password protection and expiry periods longer than 7 days are available on paid plans.
- We may adjust these limits with reasonable notice. Any reduction will not delete data you have already stored; see retention below.
Album expiry
You choose an expiry period for each album from the options your plan offers. On the Freemium plan the only option is 7 days. When an album expires, the share link stops working and the archive is permanently deleted. We email you a reminder one day before an album expires. This is a property of the individual album and applies regardless of your billing status.
If your plan lapses or is downgraded
We do not delete your data because a payment failed. The sequence is:
- A grace period during which your access does not change. Its length is set by your plan and shown in Billing.
- After the grace period the account is placed on hold. Uploads, new events and new share links are paused. Nothing is deleted, your account stays open, you can still sign in, and you can still download everything you have stored. Share links you had already sent to clients continue to work until their own expiry date.
- If the account remains on hold for 60 days, stored Album Transfer archives are permanently deleted to recover storage costs. We notify you when the hold begins, again one week into it, and again 7 days before any deletion. Your account, event records and billing history are retained.
- Renewing at any point before that deadline restores full access immediately.
If you move to a plan with a smaller allowance and your stored data exceeds it, we will tell you how much you are over and pause new uploads until you are within the new limit. You choose what to delete or download. We will never select which of your albums to delete on your behalf. If you explicitly instruct us to delete your Album Transfer data as part of a downgrade, we act on that instruction immediately and record it.
Your responsibilities
- Anyone holding a share link can download the album. A link can be forwarded. You are responsible for who you send links to. Use a password or a download limit for albums that must remain confidential, and revoke a link you no longer want honoured.
- Album Transfer is a delivery service, not a backup service. Keep your own copy of any archive you upload. We are not liable for loss of files you have not retained elsewhere.
- You must hold the rights to the content you upload and share, and must not use the service to distribute unlawful material.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
Photographers retain full ownership of all uploaded photographs.
By using Lenzeit's services, you grant Lenzeit a limited, revocable license to process and deliver the content solely for the purpose of organizing and distributing photos to clients. Lenzeit will not use or share any photos for marketing, or any other purposes without prior written consent from the photographer.
If event organizers request access, it is the responsibility of the photographer to ensure they have legal rights to share the photos with such parties.
9. Facial Recognition Disclaimer
Lenzeit uses AI facial recognition to sort photos. While every effort is made to ensure accuracy and privacy, errors may occur (e.g., misidentified individuals or background faces included in incorrect folders).
Lenzeit disclaims liability for such issues, though security protocols are in place to minimize these risks.
10. Data Security and Access Control
All content is protected with industry-standard security measures. Access codes are randomly generated, encrypted, and time-limited. Clients are advised not to share codes with others.
Photographers and clients are responsible for respecting privacy rights and ensuring that only authorized individuals access the content.
11. Service Availability and Maintenance
Lenzeit provides ongoing service availability. In case of scheduled maintenance or unplanned outages, we will notify users in advance when possible.
We are responsible for backing up data during planned maintenance. However, once a photo event expires (after 14 days), Lenzeit is not responsible for retaining or recovering that data.
12. Termination of Access
Lenzeit reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, suspected fraud, abuse, or technical misuse.
Photographers may cancel their subscriptions at any time. Cancellation will prevent the next renewal but will not result in a refund of the current billing cycle.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lenzeit is not liable for:
- Errors in AI photo sorting or facial recognition
- Unauthorized access resulting from shared access codes
- Data loss from expired events
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
14. Modifications to Terms
Lenzeit may update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or website notification. Continued use after changes implies acceptance.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Islamabad.
